Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation)

I had a 30GB 5G Classic, which was just fine for my purposes - until I played around with a pal's iPhone. I knew then that I had to have a Touch. I purchased the 8GB model last Tuesday and it has been wonderful!

I can surf the Web, check/send emails, play fun games and read ebooks all in one compact package. The battery life is impressive; I've been able to watch videos with very little "juice" expended. Speaking of videos, they look great on the generous screen!

Now I might just have to buy a 32GB...but I'm waiting to see if more capacity will be available this spring or summer. Fingers crossed!

I had a 30GB 5G Classic, which was just fine for my purposes - until I played around with a pal's iPhone. I knew then that I had to have a Touch. I purchased the 8GB model last Tuesday and it has been wonderful!

Apple iPod classic 120 GB Black (6th Generation)

Works great. Looks great. My son and I bought it to take with us on vacation. We downloaded three movies to watch on the plane. I downloaded music and 30+ hours of audio books and lectures. It beats carrying all the books and cd's. We stored hundreds of pictures from the trip onto the Ipod. Picture quality is great. We've only used 14 out of the 120GB. Haier HL15B 15-Inch LCD HDTV

The plugin panel on the back of the screen flopped around when I tried to connect the wiring. A blue line developed on the left of the screen and this seems appear at random and may or may not be there when the set is turned on and may start up suddenly an then go off for a while and then reappear later. I though it would be easier to buy this online but I sending it back and heading to Best Buy. Maybe I got a lemon and maybe they are all lemons. I rated this product with 3 stars only because I have not had an opportunity to really use the product. I did try the DVD with a widescreen tape and the viewing area is very small and the picture quality was not perfectly clear, perhaps it will be better with a standard screen play DVD. The overall construction is very high quality and the inputs allow the unit to be linked with an on-board computer. The major reason for purchasing is the corrosion protection and 12 volt operation. Westinghouse 26" HDTV DVD Combo (SK-26H570D)

I use this DVD/TV combo at tradeshows to show off my product and the DVDs that go with it. the contrast ratio is very low, so the picture is pretty crappy. the color is way off as compared to all other monitors/TVs i own, and the volume just doesn't quite go to 11, if you know what i mean (see Spinal Tap if you don't). for those of you who missed the reference, the volume isn't loud enough.

but for under $500, and as a TV i won't be devasted should it get damaged or stolen, and just to let people know how to use my product, i don't have any major complaints. none of the DVD/TV combos seem to have very good pictures. i guess that's part of the deal.

Samsung LNT4042H 40-Inch LCD HDTV

We purchased this TV just after Christmas. It quit working (no signal, could not turn off or on) in April. After several weeks and two visits by the repair people to replace two boards, the TV was finally working again. Less than two months later it quit again - no signal received. This time we have been waiting two weeks again for the repair people and they are supposed to come tomorrow. Each time we have given the repair people our home phone and cell phone numbers but once the parts come in we still have to play phone tag for several days since they won't call any number except our home phone and we are at work during the day. Samsung tells us that if it breaks once more during the year warranty they will finally replace. My fear is that it will break again just after the warranty has expired. We paid a lot for this TV and I feel that it was wasted and we now have no recourse! Also, when the TV does work the sound is horrible. Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-52W3000 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

This 2 star rating is just for Sony, if it is other brand i would have given 3, nobody expects a LCD panel to be replaced with in 9 months from the purcahse date, loved the picture quality for 8 months, after that a thin vertical line started to appear on the left side of the screen it will remain for few mintues but after that it will disappear, when checked with SONY they told me to contact the local repair shop, repair person came and told me that panel needs to be replaced, since it was under warranty they replaced it for free, but still i didnt expected this from SONY.Buy Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-52W3000 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV!
