Haier HL15B 15-Inch LCD HDTV

The plugin panel on the back of the screen flopped around when I tried to connect the wiring. A blue line developed on the left of the screen and this seems appear at random and may or may not be there when the set is turned on and may start up suddenly an then go off for a while and then reappear later. I though it would be easier to buy this online but I sending it back and heading to Best Buy. Maybe I got a lemon and maybe they are all lemons. I rated this product with 3 stars only because I have not had an opportunity to really use the product. I did try the DVD with a widescreen tape and the viewing area is very small and the picture quality was not perfectly clear, perhaps it will be better with a standard screen play DVD. The overall construction is very high quality and the inputs allow the unit to be linked with an on-board computer. The major reason for purchasing is the corrosion protection and 12 volt operation. Westinghouse 26" HDTV DVD Combo (SK-26H570D)

I use this DVD/TV combo at tradeshows to show off my product and the DVDs that go with it. the contrast ratio is very low, so the picture is pretty crappy. the color is way off as compared to all other monitors/TVs i own, and the volume just doesn't quite go to 11, if you know what i mean (see Spinal Tap if you don't). for those of you who missed the reference, the volume isn't loud enough.

but for under $500, and as a TV i won't be devasted should it get damaged or stolen, and just to let people know how to use my product, i don't have any major complaints. none of the DVD/TV combos seem to have very good pictures. i guess that's part of the deal.

i would love it if these DVD players upconverted to HD, since the monitors all are HD, adding to the lousy picture quality.Buy Westinghouse 26" HDTV DVD Combo (SK-26H570D)!
