This is an excellent TV for the money. HD picture is outstanding. Black levels are very good. Menu system easy to use and menus snap open and closed instantly. Has 2 HDMI ports plus other types. We use one for our Dish receiver and the other for our Blu-Ray. Adding a low cost HDMI switch is simply way to get more. Built in DVD works great and upscales SD DVDs. But our Blu-Ray disks look fantastic at 1080P. Remote is well organized. Has sub woofer connector but this set deserves a surround sound system. We see no reason to spend more for more expensive snob brands. Can't think of any negatives at all about this TV. Purchased a computer and 24" monitor direct from Dell. Got the computer in a week, the monitor never showed. A couple dozen emails, phone calls - one customer service rep actually asked me to call back when their systems came back online - and no monitor. Fed Ex finally admitted it was stolen off their truck - informed Dell, no monitor. Toshiba 37AV500U 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

TV purchased in May. I was pretty happy with the picture for the relatively low price of the TV. TV has some limitations in picture quality that you would expect when you have a bargain price. Picture went out in October. Six weeks later find out the the part for repair will not be available till March 2009. Not a good sign! Still waiting for Toshiba to resolve the issue. This TV costs less than other TV's with similar features. What I learned before I went out to purchase a TV of this type was make sure it is 1080p and that it is full HDTV. This TV has both these things. It also has so many features to numerous to list here. The most important thing for me is the picture quality and this TV blew me away. I am so happy with my purchase of this TV I just had to let people know that they do not need to spend a lot of money to get a top quality TV. Don't disregard this TV when making your decision as to what brand TV to buy. I took the extra money and purchased a top quality "Surge Protector". Oh, also, I didn't need to buy the HDTV cable that can be very expensive. My cable company gave me the cable for free. So you may want to check it out before you buy the cable. Vizio XVT 42'' SV420 120Hz 1080p LCD HDTV

I own the Sony Bravia 52", KDL-52W4100. Although the Sony has more bells and whistles, I can barely distinguish a difference in the picture quality between the two TVs. I enjoy watching the Vizio as much as the Sony. Also, my Vizio came with the multi-device remote, and I find it easy to use. Great value and the price was right. Sceptre Naga 23" 720p LCD HDTV - Black (X23BV)

I'm not usually a fan of off brand TVs, but for the price, this is a fantastic 23" option. The picture is clear and accurate (enough) at both 720p and 1080i resolutions. The color accuracy is fairly good, but I did have to tweak things a bit to get a picture that wasn't too saturated. Thankfully the menus are actually very intuitive.

The volume level on this TV is fairly low, so I suggest getting an inexpensive 2.1 speaker system to handle processing your audio.

Connectivity is pretty good and includes: 1 HDMI, 1 VGA (no DVI which would have been nice, but you can use a HDMI to DVI converter) your standared composite connection, and S-video, and a video in. Output includes an SPDIF Out which is awesome for digital sound. Try to find speakers that will take advantage of the SPDIF out if possible. It will dramatically improve the sound quality.

This monitor is HDCP compatible, which means you can use it with a computer to play HD content like Blue Rays. This is great if you plan on using this as a monitor.

One complaint is that the TV is a bit slow to respond to input from the remote. This happens when navigating the menu, or when changing inputs. However, it's only a minor issue.

This TV is a bargain for the price. The features, display quality, and overall value for the price is exceptional. This is NOT an videophile TV and will not impress the extremely picky. However, if you want a solid TV without spending a fortune, the Sceptre Naga 23" is a great option. Buy Sceptre Naga 23" 720p LCD HDTV - Black (X23BV)!
