I loved each of my iPods dearly...Dearly. Over the past 7-8mo I have bought 5 different ones. Each one did the dreaded "sad ipod" face either immediately or within a few days. My most recent one lasted a few months, miraculously. They all stopped functioning out of nowhere; I never dropped or hit any of them to cause this. Evidently the previous owner(s) did not take care of the ipod themselves. I would not recommend buying this used, and if you do, please buy a Squaretrade.com warranty.
