I used a 4gb mini ipod for about 4 years, until it was lost/stolen (not sure). I wanted a replacement to use to plug into the auxiliary jack for my truck's sound system. I always had to limit my music downloaded onto my ipod, but not so anymore. With the 80gb hard drive, I'm only filling about 15% of its usable memory, so there is plenty of room to grow with me. It functions great, looks great, and I'm happy with its navigability.
