Have had the tv in service for about 4 weeks and have no complaints. The LED light source is entirely adequate even in a well lit room.. No lamp to replace. The sound system is adequate for tv speakers.. My 5.1 system works fine for theatre sound. Only drawback is the lack of 5.1 sound output from the tv. Need to hook up recorders and DVD player directly to the amp. Everyone thinks 67" is too big until they come to see it in place. Buy bigger than you think you should. Samsung PN50A650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV with RED Touch of Color

I have had the tv for about a week and it truly has changed my family's viewing habits. We have FIOS and the HD picture quality is breathtaking. I am using for the first 100 or so hours the settings suggested by Samsung, so everything is turned down a bit; I cannot wait until I can see the full capabilities of this set.

Now on to the buying experience: A few weeks ago, when the price at Amazon was $1399 I placed an on line order for the set; the anticipated delivery was Feb 26th. I called each and every day to check to make sure everything was ok with the order...."no problem" was the response from customer service each and every time. Finally on Friday the 27th when I clearly new something was amiss due to my credit card not being charged I got a supervisor on the line; he apologized profusely, etc, etc. He told me he would check on it Sat or Monday and certainly email me what the deal is. Saturday I get an email that they are out of stock, "sorry."

To say that I was not pleased would be an understatement; I ended up purchasing it from another online store, received it without issue and am pleased.

Sharp LC26SB24U 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Bought the Sharp based on a gold box deal and so far it seems to be a good price. I have a home office and the tv is on all day and I really like it, no complaints. Sharp Aquos LC42D85U 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I was so excited to get my new TV. Had everything setup. Set the TV to scan for all available channels. The process of removing channels was horrible. Unlike Sony where you just click add/delete in this Sharp TV you have to go through the menu and delete each channel. Hate it. Then I get to a few channels where I can see the picture perfectly, but I can't hear anything. That's strange because all the other brand TV at home can get those channels with sound perfectly even Vizio the brand I hate with its poor quality picture and a control that only works if you angle it towards the far right. What gives. Sharp is suppose to be a better brand. They need to work on their digital tuner especially the sound. I contact Sharp but have not heard back from them yet.
