We received our Samsung pn58a650 plasma tv 4 weeks ago. Have not experienced any problems so far and have been quite satisfied with its performance. The h-d channels delivered by Comcast cable service are outstanding although the std definition side of the tv is a little grainy. At times the stretch function does distort the image on std definition but nothing too drastic. Overall this tv has the best picture quality I have ever seen especially for a tv this size. Have not experienced any issues with glare even though it is mounted in very bright room.

Sony's 19-inch Bravia TV produces an outstanding picture in HD, but it is the sound quality that distinquishes it from the other very good TVs. This set replaces a 12 year 15-inch Sony, that sits on a kitchen counter, and we wanted the new HD set to have the same rich, warm sound. Other small screen sets seemed to have the tiny, cheap speaker sound. The remote is very user friendly and easy to use.

Panasonic Viera TC-37LZ85 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

This 37" HDTV (LCD) was very easy to set up and test. Only problem is that the remote control and several key buttons that were problematic. Several keys only work intermittently and some not at all. Panasonic Tech Support was quite helpful, though, and walked me through diagnosing the problems, and even taught me a few things about the remote that aren't in the user manual. He gave me directions on how to ask for a replacement remote and open a case # for this problem. And I even got a follow-up email on this Case. LG 42LG50 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I think the LG brand is one of the best. It's a great tv, great picture and with a great price. The price on Amazon.com was by far the best I could find anywhere and the free delivery was more than I expected. This set is a bit small, but man, is it a looker. It features a built-in HD tuner for digital OTA reception, HDMI & Component connectors for hi-def media players, as well as an SVGA hookup to perform as a computer monitor. The speakers sound a bit "tinny" as could be expected, but the volume can get up fairly loud.

And hard to tell from the pics here, but its cabinet and screen have a nice looking glossy finish. The only downside is that is does have a somewhat narrow viewing range (though it has a tilting base). A 26" flat-screen tv that looks and sounds just as well as the larger sets in the market. Fantastic features, super fine image and extra crisp sound--with a great bass and not distortion at higher volumes. The red trim is soothing to the eyes and it was $100.00 cheaper than the other (white and black) Bravias in the market. Over a month after purchasing it, I still prefer to watch shows on this tv instead of the 54" in the living room. Get yourself one. Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-46S4100 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I think you should be able to get this TV in the used range for about $899 to $950. I bought this very TV at Cowboy Maloney's in Jackson, Mississippi.

I have done extensive research for a 6 month period. For the size of the TV and the brand name, it was an incredible bargain! The sound quality is pretty good considering it is a flat-panel and most flat panels usually require for you to set up a surround sound package!

I bought it "off-shelf" display model, salesman gave it to me for $950, tax an all was $1015. So if you can buy it off here for $1,000 with free shipping that is a steal!

I seriously suggest that you upgrade your cable/satellite service to high-def and run everything with HDMI cable's. There are three ports so that covers your DVD, Cable box, and PS3/Xbox 360 gaming system! Has your PC port as well.

Wal-Mart is selling the TV for $1250 and will not come down on the price, unless you have an advertisement!

ViewSonic N1630w 16-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

I bought a big screen with a PIP that would not show my DirectTV. I use the ViewSonic as a PUP (Picture Under Picture) so it's just used a few minutes each day. It does OK. I do not have HD.
My only gripe is the menu that takes up 75% of the picture while you are trying to adjust the picture. You can adjust transparency but the purple fog never goes away. How can I adjust the tint to get proper flesh tones when the menu obscures the faces behind a purple screen? Answer-Guess at it, turn the menu off and repeat. Next time just put a little slider adjustment across the bottom, get rid of the huge screen blocker. Samsung PN63A650 63-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV with Red Touch of Color

I purchesed this 63" Plasma on Jan 16th, and by Feb 24th the "Y SUS" board went out on it leaving a black 4" wide 15" long line coming from the top of the screen, approximately 5" from the right side of the screen. At 5 weeks old you dont expect that kind of thing to happen, not on this caliper of TV. Amazon was great and told me they would issue a full refund and send someone to pick up the TV or send me a new one rite away.
