This was my first large (TV) purchase online. Everything went smoothly until... the delivery. I monitored the tracking # to see it's progression. Amazon shipped out next day as promised, great! 5 days later it was at the shipping hub 20 miles from where I live. Days went by, shipper never called to schedule delivery. I call Amazon to connect me with shipper, then I still had to call shipper back directly. TV sat in shipper's warehouse for 7 days! Not acceptable. Would have paid extra for shipping if I had known.Carton was damaged also, but luckily contents appears ok .Great TV.... Sharp Aquos LC32D64U 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I was so excited to get my new TV. Had everything setup. Set the TV to scan for all available channels. The process of removing channels was horrible. Unlike Sony where you just click add/delete in this Sharp TV you have to go through the menu and delete each channel. Hate it. Then I get to a few channels where I can see the picture perfectly, but I can't hear anything. That's strange because all the other brand TV at home can get those channels with sound perfectly even Vizio the brand I hate with its poor quality picture and a control that only works if you angle it towards the far right. What gives. Sharp is suppose to be a better brand. They need to work on their digital tuner especially the sound. I contact Sharp but have not heard back from them yet.

LG 37LG30 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

I'm no expert, but I really enjoy watching this TV. Sometimes I find myself just looking at how great the picture is instead of watching the show itself! Lots of customization, great sound (some of the best I've heard on a TV), and easy to operate. This thing looks awesome in my living room too, just sitting there. This LG is perfect if you don't feel the need to waste extra money on a TV that has a high-end brand name (Sony, Panasonic, etc.) and you just want a nice TV. My boyfriend kept telling me I should spend an extra $200 and get one of those high-end TV's but I'm really glad I didn't. I like mine much better than his Panasonic. The 37" is the perfect size for a room where you're about 8 feet away from the TV, in my opinion. Buy LG 37LG30 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV!

Vizio 32" 1080p LCD HDTV - Java (VOJ320F1A)

I bought mine at Walmart for $447 because of a price mixup, its usuaully $497 there. I am more then impressed with the TV, i love the bottom gold stripe on the bezel and the vizio logo on the bottom front glows a very faint amber when the TV is off and a very faint white when on, just enough to look nice without being annoyingly bright. The picture is amazing. I use mine mainly for gaming in my bedroom. I am positioned only about 3-4' away from the TV so the 1080p really looks sharp. If you have to sit farther away then 4-5 feet you might want to go with the bigger model, as its hard to see the 1080p picture enhancement farther away then that on a 32". I would recommend this TV to anyone, if you can find it! 3 HDMI's, + VGA is nice too.Buy Vizio 32" 1080p LCD HDTV - Java (VOJ320F1A)!

Panasonic TH-50PZ850U 50-inch Viera 1080p Plasma HDTV

I spent a bunch of time researching, reading reviews, visiting local electronic stores to compare picture quality for myself. Bottom line, getting this Panasonic Plasma through Amazon has been a smooth experience. The picture quality is great. To my eye, only the Pioneer Kuro was "slightly" better but at twice the price, not worth it in terms of value. I also purchased a Panasonic BD55 Blu-ray player at the same time. The link feature which allows the same manufacturer device to be automatically recognized and operated by the same remote works great. I find the remote from the Blu Ray a better option to control both. I do have this in a room with alot of natural light. Depending upon where you are sitting, you will have some reflection from background light. I do not find it a significant issue because I had the same issue with the prior TV. This plasma's color and picture brightness blows the previous TV away and therefore the background reflections are actually less noticeable. I must have picked this TV up at the "right time" because the price went up $30 a few days after I bought it and has not come back down. yes, I know this model has been updated but I did not want to wait until May or June to get the latest and greatest.
