I highly recommend this LCD HDTV. I own one myself and have had it till now. It's been about a year and so far, so good. Quality is superb (Whoa..especially Blu-ray movies.) Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-52V4100 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I have order this TV from amazon and its 4 days to get here even in the winter.

All I'm going to said is it's an awesome LCD HDTV.

I'm glad I bought the Sony Bravia instead the other brands.
This 52" is okay for me, I don't really mind about having the 120Hz for $300 or more, 60Hz is fine.

I recommend this TV for everyone, it's the best along w/ Samsung, no wonder they both are the highest rating and tops HDTV.

If you need a great LCD HDTV, this Sony Bravia is the TV for you, or go w/ the Samsung, they are both the best out there, I know because my bro has a 52" Samsung just like my SOny Bravia 52".

They both look great.

Pros, this HDTV got everything and menu are great and easy as well, really easy to understand and use.
Con, the only con is that this LCD HDTV look great in the day, but at night it was kind of dark a bit, so if your are a day person and watch TV or play games more in the day time, go w/ the LCD, if you're a night person or like to watch movies or play games in the dark, then I suggest the Plasma, but Plasma don't look good in the day like LCD.

Samsung LN46A850 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color

This is an awesome TV! After an intensive 4 month search, I finally purchased the Samsung 46" 850 TV. I seriously looked at all the major brands and narrowed my search between Sony & Samsung. I must admit, I'm normally a Sony-man, but this time Samsung won out with what I feel is a superior product.
To maximize the TVs potential, I decided to buy the TV, home theater system and Blu-ray player all at once. For ease of use, I selected all the components from the same manufacturer--Samsung, now everything works with only one controller. This set is absolutely incredible when mated to the BD-P2500 Blu-ray player. Razor sharp!
I also bought the HT-X715 home theater sound system, which looks great (red touch of color) and sounds very nice... BUT BUYER BEWARE! If you go with this system, be advised that the DVD player is NOT Blu-ray! You have to buy one separately. Samsung does have a Blu-ray integrated home theater system for around $1,000, but that was a lot more than I was willing to pony up.
The HT-X715 system is advertised as being "wireless" (rear speakers only), but is actually only wireless when you connect the rear speakers to the SWA-4000 wireless transmitter, which costs another $100+. Even then, the rear (surround) speakers must still be "wired" to the transmitter. So much for being wireless, eh?
As for the TV itself. I haven't experienced any problem with glare or been troubled by the red trim or high-gloss black bezel. As a matter of fact, that was one of the things we liked most about the TV. It really looks fantastic. The picture is bright and extremely sharp on all HD channels. My son has hooked up his X-Box and is amazed with the game clarity. We've also been taking advantage of the NetFlix "instant" movie download capability. Although not nearly as sharp as a Blu-ray movie, it's still very clear and a really cool feature.
Purchasing these components through Amazon (vs. Best Buy/Circuit City) saved me several hundred bucks, which I in-turn used to buy the better Blu-ray player. I was also pleased with the home delivery service for the TV. Two guys brought the TV into the house, unpacked it and made sure it worked properly before leaving. All the components arrived without a scratch and you really can't beat free shipping!
I'm very happy with all of the Samsung components and would highly recommend this TV to anyone!

Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR6 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I have not stressed this TV too much since I am using a Pioneer AV Receiver which upconverts all video and handles the audio itself. As such it only sees full 1080p signal. So probably some of the satisfaction can be credited to the receiver. I really like the fact that the screen brightens up during the day (at least appears to be significantly brighter and easy to watch even in bright surroundings). On the other hand, I wished it was a little brighter during the night. Yes, I have played with the settings. Toshiba REGZA 52RV535U 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

I did many hours of reseach before I ordered this TV last week for $1199 from Amazon. I could not be more pleased. The picture is outstanding, and the overall product meets or exceeds any reasonable expectations.
You would be hard pressed to find a 52", 60Hz, entry level LCD by Samsung, Sharp, LG, or Sony for under $1500 and when you do it is because they are reducing the price just before they introduce their new models.
CEVA delivery was great and only three days.
The speakers sound very good for a TV, and at double the price you may find some sets that sound somewhat better. If you want great sound take some of the money you saved on this set and buy a sound/AV system. If you shop smart you can find a system for as little as $300 that will significantly improve viewing experience or you can spent BIG BUCKS for a weapon of mass destruction. Wow! What a TV! I spent a few months going over review after review on several TV's. I already own a 40 inch Sony so I wanted to go with Samsung this time. I've read several reviews stating that the 850 has a slight edge on the new Sony's. So I took the plunge!

I checked many stores and Amazon had the best price I could find by $200. Plus free shipping! Can't go wrong. I ordered on the 19th, Amazon gave me a delivery date for the 3rd. It was delivered on the 26th, 4(working) days early! CEVA called me 24 hours and 30 minutes before delivery. I refused the white glove treatment because I was planning on hanging my TV on the wall but they were perfectly willing to to unbox and set the TV wherever I wanted. A great delivery experience!

I hooked that bad boy up and after playing with the picture settings for about an hour, the picture is outstanding. The ability to look at the weather, stocks and news at the touch of a button is pretty cool. I havn't tried to connect to my computer to view pictures and stuff but will soon.


The red is barely noticable. Glare is not a problem because the picture is so bright. Ok the sound is a little weak, but definately not a deal breaker. You don't need good sound to watch tv and I'm sure that most of you have a surround sound system for movies.

Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-40W4100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

Ok ..so I got this TV about a week ago .. so far it works great .. the picture and the color looks fantastic .. hook up to the cable box, dvd player and the speaker system was a breeze ... all done with 3 HDMI cables .... no extra cables to mess with .. even hooking up my daughter's wii took seconds ...
So my tv was delivered by CEVA ... the worst delivery company Amazon choose to deliver my tv .. First I had a Saturday del bet 1200- 1700 .. which was ok until I had a family emergency and called CEVA to try and get a better time window .. the female customer rep was really rude .. and refused to work with me .. until I told her that I didn't need the tv that bad ... and to return it back to AMAZON ... she put me on hold for almost 20mins then came back and gave me a better time ...
So 2 guys came to deliver my tv .. who by the way did not have on the company's uniform ... they brought it in unpacked the tv .. hooked it up to the base and made sure it worked fine ... my only problem is that they asked me for a knife to open the box , a phillips screwdriver to connect the base and a pen so I could sign the delivery paperwork ... should they not have come prepared ? then after I signed the delivery form , 1 guy pulled out the Amazon check list from his back pocket which was all crumpled up ... I so do not want Ceva to ever deliver anything to me ever again ....
My mother -in -law bought my daughter a Sharp tv from Amazon for her room .. which was delivered right B4 Christmas by a different company called Pilot ... well lets just say that the delivery guy from Pilot did a way better job than Ceva .. when the guy got to my home he had on his company uniform ... he pulled out these booties that he placed over his shoes b4 he entered my home ... he del to room of choice , had his own box cutter , his own screwdriver and his own pen ... and he even had a check list for me to fill out which I got when he arrived ..which was attached neatly to the delivery paper waork I had to sign ...
Having used both Ceva and Pilot .. I'd have to say that if I ever purchase another tv from Amazon again I hope Pilot would be the Freight company used ....

Coby TFTV1022 10.2-Inch LCD TV

I was looking for a small flat screen TV for our kitchen area. I checked numerous websites and the only one that fit the description for our needs was the Colby 10 inch. Plus the price was right. I had previously bought a Venture TV that was on sale at Walgreen's, but I returned it. Anyways the Colby is perfect. The only "issue" I do have is that we have it hooked in to cable (RCN).
