I purchased this Panasonic 58" TV from Amazon back in January 2009 for $2507.79 after doing extensive research on plasma TVs.
There were no shipping charges and no taxes. You can't beat that!
I was reluctant at first purchasing such a large and expensive item like this over the internet because of possible damage in shipping and having to ship it back.
Its arrived about 7 days later (Not counting weekends). I received a call from the shipping company and coordinated a window to meet with them. The delivery went smooth and the set arrived in great condition.
The delivery man help me unbox the set, bolt on the bottom stand, set it up on the display stand, connect it up and verified that it work before leaving. Does not get any better than that!
Setup of TV was relatively simple and the HD picture is unbelievable.
All in all a fantastic TV and a great buying experience!
