...As others have already alluded to, the PQ is outstanding. I knew that before I received it since I went to BB for side-by-side TV comparisons. People that have no intention of making the purchase from local stores should still go to their local electronic stores to see the difference for themselves.
Plenty of praises have been said already, so I'm just going to mention why I chose the 750 over 650. One, I live in a one-bedroom apartment without adequate sound-proofing between apartments. So a dedicated theater SS was out of the question. With the built-in woofer, however, it added depth that I missed from 650 which my brother has. Two, I can play videos from flash drives whereas I can't on 650s (Though I hear later model 650s can?). And soon I'll set up the built-in DLNA which I know I will use a lot. Finally, The difference in price at the time I placed the order was less than $50.00
Now, on the Amazon debacle. The TV I have now is a replacement, so, yes, in the end, Amazon delivered. But it took a month of back-and-forth emailing and calling. I had some doubts that the TV I initially received was fresh out of the box. Many of the screws on the back -totalling 9- had visible scuff marks. It had fingerprints all over the screen, and the remote came with its side split. Just signs of tampering everywhere. I relayed this message through email, and the response I got was, "We can't replace the whole TV for scuffed screws that cost just 79 cents each." (Yes, they actually said, '79 cents.') Instead they wanted to send me a new set of screws. Now, why would I ever want to replace the screws on the TV that may mess up the TV and ultimately void a warranty? So I asked for a refund, and I also promised to contact the BBB, and they changed their tune a bit. Or perhaps someone in a better mood than the ".79 dude" decided to answer my email this time.
