I bought this TV wanting the best I could afford. I didn't buy this at Amazon but another online vendor. Anyways I'm comparing this TV to my Sony SXRD (DLP) TV. It looks so much better maybe due to the fact that I could see the "screen door effect" on my older TV. I love the fact the speakers are optional since I already have my theater setup. The appearance of the TV is excellent, very beautiful to look at first hand. Once setup at the house, it looks so good. I'm sad to see Pioneer discontinue making TVs cause I'm shocked or blown away at how good this TV performs on HD content.
